Twitter Removes 140 Word Limit

Twitter Removes 140 Word Limit on Direct Messages The arrival of a new CEO also sees a major shift from Twitter’s 140-character philosophy. Starting from the next month, Twitter will remove this limit from its Direct Messages feature. The new limit is 10,000 characters which in the language of Twitter is infinite. The limit, while it makes sense in tweets, was more of a chore in the messaging feature since those do tend to be longer than the status update tweets usually are and are private. Rice and Fish Culture

Rice and Fish Culture

Rice and Fish Culture in Indonesia. Rice and fish culture involves farmers introducing fish into their rice fields .This technique is good for both the fish and the rice. Safely hidden from birds, the fish thrive in the dense rice plants, while they in turn provide a source of fertilizer with their droppings, eat insect pests and help to circulate oxygen around the rice field. Farmers tell us that keeping fish in rice fields can increase rice yields by up to 10% – plus they have the additional supplies of fish. Paddy-cum-fish culture or rizipisciculture is, so to say, production…

Mercedes-Benz takes on Tesla with a home battery of its own

Guess what, Tesla: you're not the only car maker getting into the home battery game. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a personal energy cell that, like Tesla's Powerwall, uses giant batteries to store surplus power from your home's solar panels and keep you off the conventional energy grid. The German firm is taking a more modular approach than its American counterpart, though. Each pack only holds 2.5kWh of electricity, but you can combine up to eight of them to hold 20kWh, or twice as much as a Powerwall. That potentially suits it to certain businesses, not just your own abode. Whatever you…
